Afterschool Swim Programs
Learn to Swim 1
This program is for swimmers new to the water, ages four and up. The student gets comfortable with the water, putting their face in the water, blowing bubbles standing up and laying flat, floating, kicking
Lesson Times:
Mon/Wed OR Tues/Thur - 3:30pm to 4:15pm OR 4:30pm to 5:15pm
Learn to Swim 2
The student learns to develop kick and improve breathing skills. Basic freestyle and backstroke swimming and drills are also learned.
Lesson Times:
Mon/Wed/Fri OR Tues/Thur/Fri - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Improve Your Stroke
Training group is designed to for swimmers who wish to make more of a commitment to the sport of swimming. Practices are designed to be fun while teaching the fundamentals competitive swimming, including all four competitive strokes, streamlining, racing starts and turns.
Lesson Times:
Monday to Thursday - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Competitive
Each practice is designed to continue to develop and refine stroke mechanics. Emphasis is upon stroke and competitive skill development. Land training is also part of the practice schedule to further develop strength and fitness. Practice procedures, such as using a pace clock, and workout skills and knowledge are a major goal.
Competitive (COM) 12 & under
Practice Times:
Mon, Wed, Fri - 5:00pm to 6:30pm
Tue, Thu - 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Sat 9:00am to 12:00pm
