Shawn Neely
Head Coach of Lightning Aquatics New Providence & CEO
Shawn Neely has been a dedicated force in the swimming community since 1992. With a rich coaching history that includes roles as Assistant and Head Coach at Dolphin Swim Club, Assistant Coach at Seabees Swim Club, and Founder/Head Coach of Team Orca Swimming, Shawn has continually demonstrated his commitment to developing swimmers at all levels.
As former Bahamas National Team swimmer and coach, Shawn brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to his role. His credentials are bolstered by certifications from Bahamas Aquatics, the American Swim Coach Association (ASCA), and FINA (International Swimming Federation). Under his leadership, numerous swimmers have achieved national recognition, reflecting his expertise and passion for the sport.
Allison Dean
Head Coach of Lightning Aquatics Eleuthera & CEO
Allison Dean has been a pivotal figure in the swimming community since 2005, beginning her coaching career as an Assistant Coach with Dolphin Swim Club. Her journey includes significant roles with Team Orca, where she served as Assistant Coach before returning to Dolphin Swim Club in 2017 and rising to the position of Head Coach in 2019.
In addition to her leadership role, Allison coaches the Eleuthera branch in Rock Sound, Eleuthera, where she continues to inspire and develop young swimmers. Her credentials include registrations and certifications from Bahamas Aquatics, the American Swim Coach Association (ASCA), and FINA (International Swimming Federation), underscoring her dedication and expertise in the sport.
Carson Collie
Assistant Coach
Carson Collie brings a wealth of experience to his role as Assistant Coach at Lightning Aquatics. With a long history in swimming, Carson began his coaching career as an Assistant Coach with Team Orca Swimming Club. He then advanced to a similar role at Barracuda Swim Club before joining Lightning Aquatics.
Carson is registered and certified by Bahamas Aquatics, the American Swim Coach Association (ASCA), and FINA (International Swimming Federation), underscoring his commitment to coaching excellence. His dedication to developing swimmers and his extensive background make him a valuable asset to the team.
Reagan Farrington
Lead Learn to Swim Instructor
With over nine years of dedicated experience in swimming instruction, Reagan Farrington excels in teaching a wide range of strokes and techniques in both pool and open water environments. Certified by Bahamas Aquatics, England’s Swimming Teacher Association and the Red Cross, Reagan has guided and mentored hundreds of children and adults, fostering their growth and confidence in the water.
Currently serving as the Lead Learn-to-Swim Instructor for Lightning Aquatics, Reagan specializes in creating personalized programs that focus on water safety and skill development for students ranging from 4 years old to adulthood. His commitment to excellence and passion for teaching continue to make a significant impact on the swimming community.
